Pedestrians in crosswalks

I know "pedestrian" means basically "on foot", but a Segway PT is officially designated by Florida State statute as NOT a motor vehicle (see items 21 and 83), which by default makes us still pedestrians. Sooo, other state statues regarding pedestrians in crosswalks apply (see above links to the state legislature's site).

I'd say the majority of drivers I encounter while crossing streets at crosswalks are courteous. But others seem to have no clue at all that they SHOULD be looking out for and stopping for pedestrians.

If you're in such a situation with me, you may observe me "yelling" at you to stop for me. I'm not trying to be "mean" or "controlling" but I simply want to remind you of your obligation as a driver to yield the right of way to me as a pedestrian if I'm in your half of the street when I'm in a crosswalk. I usually look to see if you notice me and are intending to stop. But sometimes because of tinted window or glare, I can't tell if you notice me or not. I figure a little calling out loudly so I can be heard is much better than a collision.

Thank you for your careful consideration of this issue.
