Meet the Hooters Wing-Eating Championship Competitors

Will Joey Chestnut keep his title of champion wing-eater?

Chestnut fights to maintain his title as champion wing eater against 15 other competitive eaters at the Original Hooters Thursday.

Chestnut downed 144 wings in 10 minutes time in 2012. Two women in the event could cause Chestnut the most trouble this time year.

Miki Sudo and Michelle Lesco, are two up-and-coming female competitive eaters.

Both women beat Chestnut in a rib-eating contest in Chicago earlier this year. Sudo is ranked as the No. 7 eater in the world, according to Major League Eating, the competitive eating governing body.

Lesco, the No. 14-ranked eater worldwide, ate 150 wings in 10 minutes at a qualifying event in Cincinnati earlier this year a day after besting Chestnut in the rib competition
