Chris Sansbury is a third generation Floridian; her family lived in Miami when you still had to machete your way through the mangroves to get to the beach. After graduating college she followed her best friend to Pinellas County and has adopted it as her own. She lives with her two sons, her hunky husband, a white cat and a black dog.

Briefly a high school math teacher, she is currently enjoying the life of a 1950s housewife.

Chris Sansbury writes on local business, including a bi-weekly column for Dunedin patch called Meet the Moms and Pops. She also writes a monthly humor column named Pen Name Jane .
