Clearwater Police Officers to Work Obama's Inauguration

Fifteen members of the Clearwater Police force were chosen to work security at President Barack Obama's inauguration this January in Washington, DC.

Fifteen members of the Clearwater Police force have been chosen to work security during President Barack Obama's inauguration in January, TBO.com reports. "A lieutenant, four sergeants and 10 officers will be sworn in as special marshals, acting as members of the Presidential Inauguration Task Force," the news site reports. This is the first time the city was asked to partake in the inauguration, police chief Anthony Holloway said. “It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to get the officers involved in this” Holloway said.
