As a new metro resident,Jared needs rehab as the Patch has become trivial for the most part about the Clearwater community. There are losts of good folks here and rarely do we learn what is truly going on as they strive to improve the area.   1. Joey Chestnut ate 144 wings in 10 minutes to win the belt at the World Wing Eating Championship Thursday night at the original Hooters, besting 10 others, including Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas. 2. Clearwater Police still are asking the public for help in finding two men who punched a referee in the back of the head during at Joe DiMaggio Fields. Timothy Kerr, 31, and Dale Lewis, 33, are being sought by police after they allegedly assaulted a referee over a call during a club soccer game 3. Former Tampa Bay Bucaneers cornerback Donnie Abraham is the head coach in waiting at Clearwater High School. Abraham will take over for head coach Tom Bostic, who will end his 30-year coaching career after this season. 4.
