There are lots of things to love about Clearwater, but what really makes it great are its people. That’s why we want to show off the faces of Clearwater in this month’s Facebook cover photo contest. Just upload photos of yourself or anyone who makes this town such a wonderful place to live. It could be your family at the beach or park, your kid’s softball team photo, a group shot of your employees, your favorite bartender or your neighbors hanging out in the community. Simply add your photo to this gallery, and one lucky winner will have his or her shot chosen to be put on display at the top of our Facebook page for the month of January. Our Patch camera happened to catch an adorable little Cinderella at Westfield Countryside Mall on Tuesday morning!
How cute is this? Kate, who lives in Clearwater, was wearing her brand new Cinderella dress in celebration of her 4th birthday Tuesday. Kate and her mother and little sister went to Westfield Countryside Mall to buy a DVD rerelease of the 1950 Disney classic, which is one of Kate's favorite movies and just happened to be rereleased on her birthday, too. Sounds like the perfect day! Happy Birthday, Kate!

A new exhibit includes photos of the legendary band enjoying some down time during their 1965 tour, when they came up with the idea for their hit song "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" while in Clearwater.
A new exhibition will showcase some rare photos of the Rolling Stones in Clearwater during their 1965 American tour, ABC News reports. The photos, which were recently discovered in an unmarked box at a Southern California estate sale, are being shown to the public for the first time, according to ABC. They include images of Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman relaxing poolside at the Manger Motor Lodge in the spring of '65. The photographer is unknown. Stones guitarist Keith Richards also wrote the legendary riff for "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" that year in his room at Clearwater's Jack Tar Harrison Hotel — now the Fort Harrison — following a concert at Jack Russell Stadium, according to this St. Petersburg Times …
