Runaway Teen Has Detective, Family Worried
Jamie Carnesha Lee may be involved in high-risk activity in Pinellas County, Pasco officers say.
Jamie Carnesha Lee, 15, ran away from her New Port Richey area home Sept. 4 and is still missing. “We want her to come home,” said James Lee her father. Pasco Sheriff’s Det. David Boyer, lead investigator on the case, has worked in the missing persons unit long enough to pick and choose the cases to be concerned about. “And this is one of them,” he said Tuesday. Jamie, who moved to the New Port Richey area from Tampa last year with her family, has a history of running away from home. Boyer says in this case, she is most likely involved in high-risk activity in Pinellas County. The case is a high priority for Boyer.
