With the cooler weather and Halloween on the horizon, you're probably in high gear for family parties. Checkers offers coupons to those who sign up for The Flavorhood, a free email club. You can also print coupons at home by searching Coupons.com for your favorite products. Frugal Family: Save and Earn with Customer Loyalty Programs

Most stores offer a loyalty program, where customers receive special sale prices or earn additional rewards, such as gift cards or cash toward future purchases.

To save money, be sure to check out your favorite stores' customer loyalty program. You'll receive discounts on selected products. Rewards programs are usually free to join and take only a free minutes of your time to fill out a short questionnaire. In addition to saving some money, you can also earn money or gift cards. Some store programs offer additional rewards, such as earning points for products or cash toward your future purchases. Kmart offers a rewards program, called Shop Your Way Rewards. You earn points with each purchase. For 1,000 points, you earn $1 that can be used to pay future purchases. Sign up for free, and make sure to have the cashier scan your card each time you shop.
