Hooters Girls Making Clearwater Appearances to Hawk New Calendar

The 2013 calendar is now on sale.

Hooters provided the following information:  The 2013 Hooters Calendar is on sale now, and several 2013 Hooters Calendar Girls will be at Tampa Bay area Hooters Restaurants Nov. 28-Dec. 1 meeting fans, signing calendars and posing for pictures. Hooters is also hosting "Operation Calendar Drop" again this year, which is a great way to put smiles on all of our troops serving overseas. Guests can purchase a calendar at the restaurant, attach a thank you note to it, and Hooters will ship the calendar to a base overseas. Yes, There's School on Veterans Day in Pinellas County

The national holiday is Monday, Nov. 12, this year, but Pinellas County's public schools are in session.

As people across America recognize men and women who have served in the armed forces, students in Clearwater's public schools will be in the classroom. All Pinellas County Public Schools are open Monday, Nov. 12, the national observance of the holiday. Most government offices in Pinellas are closed. Pinellas' public school students won’t have to wait long for some time off, though. Schools will be closed the week of Nov 19-23, for two days of professional development for teachers and for Thanksgiving break, according to the school district’s calendar.
