Andy Roman was wanted for shooting at police officers during a car chase in Miami, according to reports.
Updated, 6:10 p.m.: Pinellas County Sheriff's Office deputies say they've nabbed a fugitive from Miami-Dade County wanted on five counts of attempted murder on a law enforcement officer. Andy Roman, 23, was picked up around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop at McMullen Booth Road and Crest Drive in unincorporated Clearwater, the sheriff's office reports. Roman was allegedly involved in a shootout with Hialeah Police over the weekend, firing at officers with an AK-47 and submachine gun during a car chase, NBC Miami reports.
