OK, let's see. First off, It shouldn't be that hard to spell my name right considering it is right there above my comment. Yes, I have been back since. I thought we had talked and squashed all this. As you might notice, that comment was from February. I went back and deleted the comments. Apparently I missed this one. Now who has their panties in a bunch, by bringing up old shit. Now that it has been brought up again, Jeff did nothing to diffuse the situation. I brought it to his attention when violent drunk was starting fights with others around the pool table. I ultimately left when the drunk got in my face and pushed me. That is assault. I had 3 choices. 1. leave, 2. disrespect the bar, push back and fight, or 3. call the police. I should have gone with option three and had the guy arrested. I didn't mention any of this to Larry before since I thought it was all over, but I think he needs to know some of the actions that are going on at his bar. So, make sure to prep him on your false side of the story first.

We at the Shipwreck, which by the way is the BEST bar on the beach if not anywhere, take pride in not taking crap from anyone. The comment below from Mr Robert Fuhrman was made when he was obviously menstrating. You see, Rob got his panties in a bunch when our fabulous bouncer/barback Jeff was simply doing his job. You see, some of our regulars think that they run the bar and the pool table. As much as we love our regulars and locals, and appreciate their business, we still know what is right and what is wrong. We had a business to run, and our employees don't take any shit. Jeff did diffuse the situation, and Rob has been back to the bar many times since then, as he failed to mention that his post. The moral of the story is kids, act like a douchebag, and you will be treated like one. It is a bar, with hot bartenders, stiff drinks, great music, and crazy drink specials. I have never been talked to by an employee of any establishment as I was tonight at the Shipwreck Clearwaterbeach. Jeffrey Taylor Hickman is the worst bouncer I have ever come across. I had to ask him on 3 different occasions to come and diffuse the situation. As the perps friends said, he just got out of federal jail. He's had a few drinks.He got in my face and other regulars pulled me back. You didn't just lose a customer, you lost lost someone who called that bar home. Pretty sad that you chose an asshole that threatened violence against patrons for a $20 tab vs peaceful patrons that spend $20 2-3 times a week.
