Ponce de Leon Elementary School
Ponce de Leon Elementary is named in honor of the famed Spanish explorer. The school offers many opportunities for students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, including art, music, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Students Targeted for Achievement, Recognition and Success (STARS) and Independent Varying Exceptionalities (IVE). School uniforms are voluntary. Ponce de Leon is also affiliated with the <a href="http://www.coe.ufl.edu/Centers/Lastinger/">University of Florida Lastinger Center for Learning</a>.
