Here's a quick glance of some highlights for this week in Clearwater.

Share Thoughts on Future Countryside Library

The final public meeting for residents to share their thoughts on the design of the future Countryside Library is from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 at the Countryside Recreation Center, 2640 Sabal Springs Drive.

Cost for the 22,500 square foot facility is expected to be $6.4-million. Construction is expected to start May 2014 and would take about a year to complete. Call 727-562-4970.

Would You Cluck for Free Chicken?

That’s the question Pollo Tropical plans to get an answer to on Monday, Sept. 16. In honor of National Chicken Lover’s Day, the eatery is offering a free lunch to patrons who come in dressed head to toe in yellow. There’s another catch: You have to be willing to cluck for a meal. Find out more, on the restaurant’s website. So, would you do it?
