Volunteers Needed for Courtney Campbell Cleanup

Volunteers are needed to help remove trash and debris for the Keep Pinellas Beautiful coastal cleanup at the Courtney Campbell Causeway beach from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 15.

Participants should dress for the outdoors and wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and bring a pair of gloves. Water, tools and supplies will be provided. All ages are welcome. Students who participate are eligible to receive school service hours.

The entrance to the beach is across the street from the former Clearwater Welcome Center, 3350 Gulf to Bay Blvd. Volutneers can also enter the beach from Damascus Road. Parking will be available; there is no fee.
