JUNE RESULTS ARE IN - HUMANE SOCIETY OF PINELLAS IS IN FIRST PLACE! 6 MORE WEEKS OF PET ADOPTIONS TO GO

The official results are in for June, and the Humane Society of Pinellas is in first place in its division in the 2013 ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge! HSP saved 153 more lives this June than last year, putting the shelter in 11th place overall - and beating out 38 other shelter across the nation, many of which are significantly larger than HSP.

HSP is eligible to receive $5,000 in grant funds for winning their division, but the shelter won't receive the money if they don't increase total adoptions over last year by at least 300 by the end of August. Now is the time to adopt!

This weekend, HSP is celebrating Christmas in July, starting with Black Friday. All weekend long, any animal with black on it will be 75% off. Name your own fee for pets over 5 years old and Special Pets in Need. Lots of small and purebred dogs will be available for adoption, as well as cats and kittens. Bring in an item from HSP's Wish List and receive a free gift in the Gift Exchange!
