5 Things to Know About The National Family Tennis Championship This Weekend
Amateur players can participate in the 2012 National Family Tennis Championships this weekend in the Clearwater preliminaries.
The 2012 National Family Tennis Championships allow amateur players the opportunity to team up with their loved ones and earn the right to compete against similar family teams from across the country at the Waldorf Astoria in Naples from Sept. 6-10, 2012. A preliminary round will be held in Clearwater this weekend.
1) Cost: $95 per team
2) Time & Date: Saturday morning, July 7

4) Register: Sign-ups are accepted online and must be done via search on the official National Family Tennis Championships website. Note: A brother, sister, son or daughter must be under the age of 18, and the father or mother be their legal guardian.

5) Prizes: All participants receive a player gift, and the winners and runners-up in each division receive an award. Winners will move forward to Naples in September. Teams will receive three nights of hotel accommodations at the Waldorf-Astoria and daily meals.
