Opening Day starter Cole Hamels takes the mound as the Phillies play the Braves Thursday at Bright House Field.

Ethan Martin, Jonathan Pettibone and Jake Diekman also are scheduled to pitch, according to mlb.com.

Former Tampa Bay Ray BJ Upton and his brother Justin are expected to play for the Braves. Paul Maholm starts the game for the Braves.
