Java 2 Java 5K Race
Like your coffee on the run? This race -- previously called the Ace of Diamonds 5K -- concludes with a java-themed party including coffee and coffee-inspired food from Javier Catering.
A custom coffee travel mug is guaranteed to early and pre-registered participants, organizers say. After the race, participants can enter a raffle for Newton Running Shoes and other items.
Awards will be given to the top male and female three deep in standard age groups starting at 9 and younger.

A portion of the money raised from this event will be donated to the National Childhood Obesity Foundation to help educate children on the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
Race-day packet pickup starts at 6:40am. The race begins at 7:30am.

Racers also can pick up packets on Saturday, Aug. 18, from 12pm to 4:30pm at American Running Company, 1689 Main St., Dunedin.
Online registration closes Aug. 17.
