PHUH Wrestler Takes 5th Place in National Tournament

Palm Harbor University High wrestler Jared Prince gets a Patch-on-the-Back for an amazing accomplishment- he finished in 5th place in the Super 32 Challenge, the largest National High School folkstyle wrestling tournament.

How cool is this?

Palm Harbor University High wrestler Jared Prince made his hometown proud by finishing in 5th place in the recent Super 32 Challenge, which happens to be the largest National High School folkstyle wrestling tournament.

Way to go, Jared! You rock!

PHUH Assistant Wrestling Coach Mark Prince told us about Jared's win at the Super 32 Challenge. He wrote:

"Over 1500 high school wrestlers from the entire U.S. converge on Greensboro, NC once a year for this event.

At the 120 lb. weight class there were over 175 entries, 53 of which were state finalists, and over eight nationally ranked wrestlers.

Jared Prince from Palm Harbor University High School emerged from the field with an All American 5th place finish.

Jared finished with seven wins and two defeats.  One of his victories was over the #13 nationally-ranked wrestler from Hawaii, while his losses were to two seniors who are nationally ranked #3 and #5 with scores of 9-7 and 3-2 respectively.

This was an outstanding accomplishment."

We totally agree with Coach Prince it was an outstanding accomplishment. We'd would like to honor Jared with an enthusiastic Patch-on-the-Back! Yay, way to rock it Jared!
