Photos: The Best Holiday Lights in Tampa Bay

The votes are in, and seven Florida homes were named town winners in Patch's Deck The House contest.

We asked, and Patch readers answered: Seven Florida homes have been honored as town winners in Patch's Deck The House holiday lights contest.

The winning entries came from Patch readers in Bradenton, Carrollwood, Dunedin, Gulfport, Palm Harbor, Seminole Heights and Temple Terrace. (See photos of the winning homes above.)

Of those seven homes, John Banacki's home in Palm Harbor has been chosen as one of 24 national finalists in the contest. The Banackis have won $500 toward their December electric bill, and they're in the running for the national grand prize, a $100,000 donation from Patch to the public school district where the winner lives.

You can vote for the Banackis and Pinellas County Schools, and see the other 23 winning light displays from across the U.S., on the Deck The House website. You may vote once per day through Jan. 8, when a national winner will be chosen and the $100,000 prize will be awarded.

Thanks for decking your houses for a good cause, and happy holidays from Patch!
