Big East Baseball Tournament to Stay in Clearwater
The Big East Conference Baseball Championship tournament will be played at Bright House Field through 2013.
It just depends on the regular season.
But, the Big East Conference firmed up plans to keep its baseball championship tournament at through 2013, according to a Big East press release.
The 2012 tournament is planned for May 23 to 27. The 2013 games are scheduled for May 22 to 26.
The top eight teams in the regular season standings qualifying to play for the championship.
The winner of the Big East Championship receives the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.

Bright House Field is the site of tournament in five of the last six years.
Mayor Frank Hibbard is excited that the tournament is staying another two years.
