A car waiting to turn nearly gets into an accident with a truck going through a red light at Gulf to Bay Boulevard and Belcher Road making the latest Red Light Camera Violator of the Week.
The near miss was not the only red light violation caught on camera. A driver in the middle westbound lane also runs the light in the June 24 video.
Clearwater Police posted the video on its Facebook page July 10:
"As if that one is not bad enough, watch for the truck in the right lane run the light well after it changes, nearly causing an accident with a vehicle that was waiting to turn."
The violation comes with a $158 fine.
