Clearwater Offices Closed, Garbage Pickup Suspended Monday
City offices and buildings are closed because of Tropical Storm Isaac.
Clearwater city offices and buildings will be closed on Monday, Aug. 27, because of Tropical Storm Isaac.
Garbage also will not be picked up.
Monday's garbage routes will shift to Tuesday, and Tuesday's garbage will be picked up Wednesday.

Non-essential employees should not report to work, said Joelle Castelli, city spokeswoman.
The Clearwater public library system — including the , the , the , the Clearwater East Library and the Clearwater/North Greenwood Library — will also be closed Monday.

Residents should stay off the roads for their safety, Castelli said.
