Candidates for Judge and Sheriff to Talk at Forum

Sheriff and judicial candidates will talk about their qualifications for the elected positions they seek at the July 2 Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition meeting.

Candidates seeking the positions of Pinellas County SheriffPinellas County Judge - Group 2, and Pinellas/Pasco 6th Circuit Judge Groups 15, 31 and 45 will be at the forum and on the Aug. 14 ballot. 

The deadline to register to vote or update voter information for the primary election is July 16.

 and  vie for the Republican nomination in the Primary Election in August to be on the November ballot.  and face the primary winner in the General Election Nov. 6.

All sheriff candidates except Rice will be at the event. Due to a scheduling conflict Rice will not be able to attend, according to Carl Schrader, who is setting up the forum for the Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition.

The candidates for judge who will be at the forum include:

Group 2 (county judge)

Scott Andringa (Andringa's uncle Bob will be at the forum instead)

Cathy Ann McKyton
