The arrests resulted in more than 40 criminal charges. There also were 12 people evicted from the Budget Inn Motel and two narcotics arrests, according to police.

"During the warrant roundup operation, two tenants at the Budget Inn Motel were arrested. The motel management elected to evict the remainder of the people in the room at the time of the arrest," Joelle Castelli, police spokeswoman said in an email. "If a motel management company decides that they no longer want the tenants of a room to be there, they can elect to evict them immediately."
