Two People Killed in Residential Shooting

Clearwater Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left two people dead.

A man going through a divorce shot his wife, then turned the gun on himself this morning at the Harvard Arms Townhomes, according to Clearwater Police.

Eugene and Ingrid Agbebaku, of Wesley Chapel, were going through a divorce and scheduled to make an appearance in court Tuesday in Pasco County, according to investigators.

However, Eugene came to Clearwater armed with a Russian-style assault rifle.

He broke into the townhome on Abbey Crescent Lane where Ingrid was living with her parents, shooting and killing her around 3:45 a.m. Eugene then went outside the unit and turned the gun on himself.

Eugene was arrested and charged with solicitation of prostitution Feb. 27, according to Polk County court records.

Ingrid filed a domestic violence injunction against Eugene March 20, according to Pasco County court records. A temporary injunction for protection was denied May 7.
