The Main Event: National Night Out

Meeting first responders, learning tips against crime prevention amid food and fun highlight's today's Main Event.

It's an odd mix: crime prevention, safety tips, food and fun. That's what can be found at Clearwater's National Night Out.

The National Night Out is an effort to combine outreach between Clearwate's first responders and citizens with a goal of building bonds to help prevent crime.

But that's not all. The National Night Out is sort of a celebration of first responders. Thanks to a large collection of businesses and retailers, it's almost a street fair.
