Suspect Sought in Car Theft

Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man who stole a car from a Clearwater auto dealership on Tuesday.

The theft occurred on October 1,  at approximately 12:52 p.m. at the Lokey Nissan Service Center located at 27758 US Highway 19 N. in Clearwater.

According to detectives, the man stole a 2005 white Nissan Altima 4 door with FL tag J57WCG. The vehicle was in for service at the time of the theft.
It is unknown which direction the suspect left the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a bald, white male who was last seen wearing black
sunglasses, jeans and a white t-shirt with writing on the front left chest and
a star on the back.
