Robbery Suspect Charged In Additional Incidents

Clearwater Police charged an armed robbery suspect caught Sunday morning with three additional crimes after linking the man to .

Thomas Delgado, 44, is now charged with four counts of armed robbery after walking into a with a gun and demanding money from a clerk early Sunday morning. He is being held on $200,000 bond.

Because of a rash of robberies, detectives, using crime analysis software, honed in on some areas of interest. They were on surveillance duty nearby when Delgado fled with a store bag full of money.

During the course of their investigation, authorities believe Delgado also was involved in the previous robberies.
