Robber Hits Third PNC Bank

A man already wanted for robbing two PNC banks robbed a third branch Tuesday in Countryside.

He wore a green, long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and what seems to have become his signature black cap.

The man walked into the PNC bank in Countryside at 4:14 p.m. Tuesday, confronted employees and customers with a gun, then went over to a teller demanding cash, according to Clearwater Police.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police. Canine units were unable to track the man, who was seen running through the nearby Inverness Condominium complex.
