Public Asked to Help Identify Kohl's Jewelry Thief
Investigators are asking the public for help to identify a suspect who took two necklaces from a display case and left a Kohl's department store in Clearwater.
A six-foot tall, white man with a slender build and a partial beard that lines his jaw bone was seen near the jewelry cases around 11:30 a.m. July 23 at the Kohl's at 2514 State Road 580, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect asked the clerk to look at a couple of necklaces that were locked in the display case, according to investigators. The clerk turned away for a moment and the suspect left the story with the jewelry, according to officials.
