Police Ask for Help to Identify CVS Robbery Suspect

Clearwater Police are asking the public for help to identify a suspect who rushed behind the swinging door of a CVS pharmacy, chased out the pharmacist, then took off with an undisclosed amount of medication Dec. 9.

Clearwater Police are asking the public for help to identify a suspect who rushed behind the swinging door of a CVS pharmacy, chased out the pharmacist, then took off with an undisclosed amount of medication Dec. 9.

The man, who police say is around 30 years old, went into the store, walked to the pharmacy and asked the pharmacist about some medications at 12:31 a.m. at CVS, 2200 Gulf to Bay Boulevard, according to Clearwater Police.

The man, estimated at five-foot, ten-inches tall, then intimated that he had a firearm under his shirt. He chases the pharmacist out, then enters the enclosed pharmacy area, taking an undisclosed amount of medications, according to investigators.

He left in a silver four-door car, according to Clearwater Police. 

The suspect has brown, balding hair and was last seen wearing black shorts with a green stripe and a gray T-shirt on top of a white thermal undershirt.
