"An arrest affidavit says Blankenbeckler, 37, intentionally hit her ex-husband during an argument. She also grabbed him by the shirt and pulled, causing one of the buttons to fall off and scratched him on the left chest." He called the police because she "intentionally hit" him? And caused his button to fall off? AND she scratched him "on the left chest?" Poor guy. But it doesn't sound like a lot of blood was lost or that he's in a coma. Maybe in the next couple of days we can hear the rest of the story like, what this milquetoast did to provoke the murderous attack. In the meantime Mr. Ex, remember that unless she hits you with something like a hammer or scratches you with the butcher's knife, it's probably not attempted murder so turn the other cheek. But that does NOT mean you get to hit her. Not even with your open hand. OK? Now go apologize.
