UPDATE: Clearwater Shooting 'Appears Drug Related,' Authorities Say
One person was shot Sunday night near Ridge Avenue, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

An overnight shooting in unincorporated Clearwater "does appear to be drug related" and a suspect is still at large, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said Monday morning.
Deputies are still investigating the shooting, in which a man was shot in the torso and taken to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery, a sheriff's office spokesperson said.
"The victim's information is not being released at this time due to the suspect
still being at large," sheriff's office spokesperson Cristen Rensel said in a media release.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office was investigating a late night shooting in unincorporated Clearwater, officials said Sunday night.
The shooting happened near Ridge Avenue in unincorporated Clearwater, sheriff's office spokesperson Cristen Rensel said in an email to media sent just before 11:30 p.m.
One person was shot and taken to a local hospital, Rensel said.
No further information was immediately available.
