Bay Flite landed and law enforcement and public safety officials answered questions and performed demonstrations as hundreds of residents came to check out Clearwater Police's 29th Annual National Night Out Against Crime on Oct. 2.

Residents chatted with officers, tried their best to pass a field sobriety test with a pair of "drunk goggles" on and snacked on a variety of free food available throughout the parking lot in front of Super Target at Clearwater Mall.

The event also included other demonstrations and displays, free document shredding, child safety seat checks and bicycle safety inspections.
