Clearwater Police Ask Public for Help to Solve Homicide Near Crest Lake Park

Clearwater Police and Jason Taylor Paul's family will hand out flyers Monday evening seeking information about his death Sunday near Crest Lake Park.

Clearwater Police are asking the public for help to try and determine who stabbed a man and left him dead in the road near Crest Lake Park early Sunday morning.

Jason Taylor Paul, 22, of Clearwater, was found lying dead on the road around 12:40 a.m. outside of a house at 116 S Glenwood Ave, according to investigators.

In an attempt to identify a suspect and motive, detectives, Paul's family members, police volunteers and AmeriCorps members will go to Glenwood Avenue to hand out flyers at 5 p.m. Monday.

Detectives are also working with Crime Stoppers to establish a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect.
