DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST

iisawqAt first I thought I was in a wonderful place , I will make this as short and sweet as possible , my intentions was to get my tooth extracted.,i then got my xrays done and Dr. Mamata Ponnaganti, DMD wanted to let me know that she can save my tooth I said no I want it extracted she somehow convinced me to keep the tooth and save it so Dr. Dr. Mamata Ponnaganti, DMD says I need a CROWN that will do it and I can set you up for a finance if you are eligible . I am back and forth like no I just want it pulled, I cant afford this I don't make a lot of money. and then she somehow convinced me to keep it . i said fine lets just fix this im in pain.( thinking all dentists were like this) Dr. Mamata Ponnaganti, DMD said in her own words "I will not pull your tooth unless I have no choice but to pull it" I should have walked out the door after hearing that. Anyway she gave me a temp crown 2 days later I was in pain could not even close my mouth so Dr. Mamata Ponnaganti, DMD got me some meds 500 mg of amoxicillin blah blah blah the pain went away , as a professional Dentist Dr. Mamata Ponnaganti, DMD should have known that putting that crown on would be a big mistake, knowing of the pain from the temp crown it would most likely mean I would need a root canal. I only know this information from the new dentist I currently am at.Anyway I am currently still in pain and waiting on to get to the dentist drowning in motrin and peroxide and whatever I can do to kill this pain while I wait to get this tooth pulled.Yes I am getting it extracted the 1 thousand dollar crown is going to be extracted.I do not recommend this place at all. Find a Dentist that is fair with you that gives you choices, to explain the choices, as much as dentists want to save your teeth they should still give you choices. I will continue to try and help the community to stay away from this Dr. Mamata Ponnaganti, DMD. Here is the kicker they actually owe me money and now they are saying they don't , my paperwork does not lie and if you think that $122.00 is worth giving your business a bad reputation well then that's your choice.
