Registration for Free Valentine’s Day Wedding Ceremony at Florida Botanical Gardens Approaching

Once again, numerous couples will join together at the picturesque Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo for one group wedding.

The following is a news release from the Pinellas County Clerk's office: 


Time is running out to sign up for the annual Valentine’s Day Wedding Celebration organized by the Pinellas County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, Ken Burke.  Once again, numerous couples will join together at the picturesque Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo for one group wedding ceremony to be performed by the Honorable Ken Burke, on Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14, 2014.

 

This is the eighth year the Clerk’s Office is hosting this event, which has become a county tradition. The single ceremony uniting multiple couples in marriage will be held in the Florida Botanical Gardens’ Wedding Garden.

There are still available openings for couples wishing to participate.  Marriage licenses must be applied for by February 11, 2014, in order to participate in the 2014 wedding event.  The Clerk has waived the normal $30 fee to perform the marriage ceremony.  Standard Marriage License fees will apply.

The ceremony will take place at 2:00 P.M. in the Wedding Garden at Florida Botanical Gardens, 12520 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33774.  Couples will receive a special Commemorative Marriage Certificate, which will be mailed within one week from the date of the ceremony with the official Certificate of Marriage.  All couples should arrive at the Botanical Gardens by 1:00 P.M. on the day of the event with their marriage license and identification.

 

To add to the romantic garden setting, musical serenades by the Charmonizers Barbershop Quartet will be serenading the couples with charming and delightful a cappella melodies throughout the event.
