Not a great first visit to PF Changs at Countryside.

We always love a new restaurant & PF Changs is on our list of yummy restaurants!

There was going to be a long wait for a table so we decided to sit in the bar area which was open. 

Now the waiting.........We ordered our food, Pork Fried Rice and Shrimp Pad Thai. We had nice conversation while we were waiting...25-30 minutes... our waitress. Kelly came by our table several times to ask if we wanted more to drink and also to apologize for the wait. We then waited another 30 minutes and were starting to get a bit antsy. We saw also of "to-go" food orders go by but no entrees. I was about to go find a manager and the food finally arrived.

Even if this was their 1st open weekend, there was no way that anyone should have to wait 1 hour for their food after ordering.

These types of kinks should have been worked out. I did find a manager and expressed by displeasure. He said they were aware of the slowness of getting meals out. They would be working on making this better. I assume that others were complaining becuse there were at least 2 managers at the front hostess stand trying to talk to angry people.

I hope that things get better or they will fail in such a busy area.

There is not a really good restaurant anywhere close by that has their type of food.

We have eaten in several other PF Changs in Virginia, Maryland & North Carolina.

We will try one more time in the future. Hopefully I will report back with a much better blog.
