Services of Clearwater now offers “smartphone” learning sessions for
seniors
who embrace the power of this new technology, but may need an individual
training session or tutorial to master the fine art of becoming a savvy
smartphone aficionado.
“Smart Phone – Smart You!” private instruction for seniors
is now being offered by Senior Citizens Services, 1204 Rogers Street in Clearwater on Tuesday and Thursday
between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm by appointment.
hour session is offered to seniors for $10.00. To effectively facilitate
one on one interaction and personalized instruction, it is advisable to
call in advance to secure your private session with an instructor.

The “Smart Phone – Smart You!” session will provide an
opportunity for the senior student to engage in a one on one dialogue with an instructor to fully understand the
features, operating system and nuances of a sophisticated technology in layman’s terms. Basic
operational technology including call features, retrieving voice mail, adding & deleting contacts, setting up &
syncing email accounts, applications, Wii Fi access, networking, photos & videos and music accessibility are priority
topics to be explored during the one and a half hour session.
SCS is located at 1204 Rogers Street, Clearwater, Florida
33756, (off of South Missouri Avenue & next to McDonald’s). Hours of operation are from 9:00 am to 4:00
pm, Monday through Friday.
