Our Man, J.B. Johnson Appreciation Dinner

APPRECIATION DINNER TO HONOR LONG STANDING CLEARWATER COUNCILMAN, SENIOR
CITIZENS SERVICES BOARD MEMBER, ALL AROUND GOOD GUY AND THOUGHTFUL CITIZEN -
J.B. JOHNSON, TO BE HELD ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 24TH AT THE CLEARWATER
COUNTRY CLUB.

Johnson, a 50 year resident and City of Clearwater advocate and long term
devoted Board
Member of S.C.S., will be honored with a toast and dinner by our community of dear
friends, associates and civic advocates. 

In honor of decades of community service, S.C.S. of Clearwater invites all in our community to celebrate the life & times of J.B. Johnson, a good friend, thoughtful advocate &conscientious civic leader. The banquet to honor Johnson will be held on Friday, January 24th at the Clearwater Country Club, 525 Betty Lane Blvd., in Clearwater, Florida from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Tickets are $50.00 each or $350.00 for a table of eight and can be purchased online at www.seniorcitizenservices.org or by calling 727-442-8104 for reservations. The dinner is a fund raising event for S.C.S., a non-profit senior advocacy organization, with $28.00 of each ticket being tax deductible.

Serving the city of Clearwater in various capacities for
many years, an S.C.S. Board Member for nine years, and an Emeritus member of the Salvation Army of Clearwater Citadel
Corps, Johnson has been described as a plain spoken and respected leader during his career as vice president of
the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. … he also played professional minor league baseball and was affiliated with
the Detroit Tigers.

The buffet style dinner will include a silent auction and raffle, with an Introduction by Bob Wittenberg, Executive Director of S.C.S., after which a microphone will be passed around giving those who wish, a chance to relate a J.B. story to honor him. Dress is business casual and a cash bar will be available.

S.C.S. is located at 1204 Rogers Street, Clearwater, Florida
33756, (off of South Missouri Avenue & next to McDonald’s). Hours of operation are from 9:00 am to 4:00
pm, Monday through Friday.

long recognized for its tireless advocacy and action for the senior community. We are dedicated to providing

to make each day just a little nicer for seniors.
