LPGA Tour Players to Speak at The First Tee of Clearwater

Two LPGA players will visit The First Tee summer
camp to interact with children and adults.
They are in town to play in the inaugural IOA Golf Classic at Innisbrook
on August 9-11.  The Classic features 144
professional female golfers competing on the Island course.

This year we have almost 400 local
children attending the 10-week Summer Camp program.  During a typical week of Summer Camp, a child
not only learns golf by spending time
practicing on the Driving Range and playing at least one 9-hole round at the
Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club, they learn personal life skills and core values
that will stay with them throughout life.

Their instruction includes grip, stance, posture, putting, chipping,

pitching, full swing, rules of golf, and course play.
