Care about Transportation in Our County? Come to This Event!

Learn about GREENLIGHT PINELLAS

All those who care about and want to learn more about
transportation in Pinellas County are invited to hear about GREENLIGHT Pinellas
on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Greektown Grille, 1230 Cleveland Street in
Clearwater, at 10:30 a.m. GREENLIGHT Pinellas is concerned with the need for enhanced bus service and light rail in
Pinellas County. To fund those services, there will be a referendum for a
transit sales tax placed on the November 2014 ballot. If successful, it would
replace the property tax for PSTA (Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority). A
speaker from PSTA will present. The League of Women Voters of North Pinellas County encourages citizens
to be informed and here is an opportunity for that.

Following the program a vegetarian lunch of spinach pie, salad, and
dessert will be served. (Cost = $15) Make reservations  for lunch by calling Joy Comstock at
727-736-2746 or emailing her at joycomstock3@verizon.net

It is not necessary
to make a reservation if lunch is not desired.
All interested parties are welcome!
