Provided by CVS Pharmacy and administered by Pharmacist
Ella Curtis, the Flu Shots are a good way to protect yourself during the upcoming flu season. This flu
vaccine protects against three different flu viruses: anH3N2 virus, an influenza B virus, and the H1N1 virus that
caused the 2009 pandemic according to the WebMD website.

The uninsured general public is invited to Senior Citizens
Services for a flu shot as well. However, without the Medicare B insurance card, the cost of the vaccine is $31.99
and the high dose vaccine as available is $49.99. The high dose vaccine is on order and may or may not be
available. CVS will accept cash only for uninsured visitors.

33756, (off of South Missouri Avenue & next to McDonald’s). We are open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday
through Friday. Free Parking.

Senior Citizens Services is a not for profit organization,
long recognized for its tireless advocacy and action for the senior community. We are dedicated to providing
exceptional quality of life forums, classes, activities and alternatives for all senior citizens, and striving, always,
to make each day just a little nicer for seniors.

The WebMd website also indicates that the number of flu
vaccine doses available in the U.S. for the 2012-2013 flu season is just 135 million. Because there are a finite
number of doses available, it is advisable to get your shot early this season.
