Join Elaine for this informational workshop that will focus on the use of color and texture to breath life into your paintings. Elaine will lead the group in creating a series of small quick study paintings using a variety of color schemes (monochromatic, complimentary etc.) You may work in any medium that you choose. The main focus will to be to quickly create paintings with a harmonious color palette whether you choose to paint realistically or abstractly.
Bring along 10 photos that you think would translate into a good painting, several 8x10 canvases or paper, a small easel, a color wheel and your usual painting supplies and materials.
