So, What's the Best Restaurant in Clearwater Beach?

A top 10 list from Urbanspoon recently got Patch readers talking, so we figured we'd ask again: what's the best place to eat on the beach?

Recently, we shared with Clearwater Patch readers this list of the top restaurants in Clearwater Beach, according to users of the online dining review site Urbanspoon.

Our post got plenty of comments, including more than a few readers who wanted to see their favorite restaurants get recognized.

One popular pick that didn't make Urbanspoon's list was Clear Sky Cafe:

Jerry Carver: ClearSky is the best, have eaten there a number of times, food is great and the staff is always nice and service is great."

John Armstrong: "A good list for sure but we would elevate Clear Sky Cafe to #1. Their food always seems to be excellent. We had Christmas Dinner there this past December and it was way beyond our expectations."

A few others that Patch readers mentioned:

  • Cooters Raw Bar & Restaurant
  • Palm Pavilion
  • Crabby Bill's
  • Cork N Brew Bistro

Sounds like there are lots of potential choices out there, so we figured we'd ask again: What's the best restaurant in Clearwater Beach?

I haven't been to a few on this list, but I love going to the Backwater Cafe at Sand Key.

This is all great and well known. What about restaurants in CLEARWATER? You know, that dump of a city off the beach? The media and city council better start putting some focus on our city. I want a parking sticker for the beach in my property tax bill!

Rajans was the best when it was there. Ray Ward recently passed away.

Oh, if you're going to go inland...Try Pete & Shorty's on Gulf to Bay! You will NOT be dissappointed.

Clear Sky is the best bar none. I have lived here 12 years and have eaten at most all of the restaurants on the beach, but none can compare with Clear Sky they are the best.
