Update: Bayside Park Open, Courtney Campbell Park Still Closed

Because of high water associated with Tropical Storm Debby, Courtney Campbell Park and Bayside Park are closed, according to Clearwater Police.

Update 11:29 a.m.: Bayside Park is open Clearwater Police said.

Police reevaluated the park near Sand Key after closing it early Tuesday morning, according to Elizabeth Watts, police spokeswoman.

Courtney Campbell Park still is closed.

Swimming is restricted at Clearwater Beach again Tuesday because of rip currents, Watts said.

"While swimming is not allowed, people are able to access the sand," Watts said in a release.

Two waterside Clearwater parks are closed because of weather related to Tropical Storm Debby. 

Courtney Campbell Park and Bayside Park in Sand Key are closed because of high water, according to Clearwater Police.

Courtney Campbell Park is along the eastbound traffic side at 3429 Courtney Campbell Causeway.

Bayside Park, 951 Gulf Boulevard, is on the Intracoastal Waterway side across the street from .
