Teen Events This Week

There are a lot of things for teens to do at the Clearwater Public Library this summer. Here are some ideas for each day of the week.

We've been busy planning plenty of activities for teens at the Clearwater Public Library this summer. In fact, this week we have something happening every day of the week at one of our branches.

Are you interested in learning to knit? We have Knitting for Beginners at 3 p.m. Monday (July 23) at the Countryside Library, 2741 State Road 580. We provide the yarn and the teacher - you provide the needles or chop sticks (really).

Get creative and write, execute and produce your own stop action video with clay and small toys at 5 p.m. Tuesdays at the East Library, 2251 Drew St. There is still time to join in the Stop Action Movie Productions.

Shihan Walter Evans will be demonstrating effective escape techniques for teens in a self defense workshop at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Main Library, 100 N Osceola Ave.

At 2:30 p.m. every Friday at the Main Library we host a Young Artists Club. We provide the art supplies and space and you provide the creativity.

Finishing off the week at 2 p.m. Saturday at the East Library is our Dream Journal Workshop. Using old books and other materials you can create a journal to record your dreams and then use library resources to interpret those dreams.
