Halloween Happenings at Clearwater Public Library

Family friendly free Halloween events at the Clearwater Public Library this week.

We are gearing up for spooky times at the Clearwater Public Library this week. We hope you will come and enjoy some safe family fun at these events.

Halloween Fun - Crafts and activities at North Greenwood branch, 905 N Martin Luther King Junior Ave, on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 4:30 p.m.

Halloween and Day of the Dead Celebration - Come to Clearwater East, 2251 Drew St., this Saturday, Oct. 27, 2 to 4 p.m. to commemorate these two holidays with books, music and crafts for all the family. Sugar skulls were such fun last year they will be back again at the craft table.

Halloween Costume Parade - On Sunday, Oct. 28, 2:30 p.m. at Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave, we will present a holiday puppet show and program. Come dressed in a costume to treat or treat around the library and meet our Therapy Reading dogs at the different stations. Who knows? They might be dressed in costume also.

Monster Mania - Also at Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave, on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2 p.m. teens can bring an old shirt or sweater to invent your own monster creations by using felt, buttons, beads and scraps to design closet monsters, zombie felties, or skeleton animals. Ages 11-17.

The library will have a table at the Halloween Carnival at the Clearwater Beach Recreation Center on Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 6-8 p.m.

And be sure to stop by and say hello to library staff at Boo Bash on Wednesday Oct. 31 at Bright House Field. From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. we will be one of the many participants at this free safe community Halloween celebration with many interactive areas for kids, including games, hayrides, a Haunted House, and plenty of candy.
