Family Environmental Open House at Clearwater Public Library

Family Earth Day celebration at the Clearwater Public LIbrary Main on Saturday, April 20th from 1 to 3 pm.

Why not include a visit to the youth department of the Clearwater Main library in your Earth Day 2013 celebrations. On Saturday, April 20th from 1pm to 3 pm, Our Down to Earth Family Fun Day openhouse will include interesting activities for all ages.  Children  can build a robot from recycled materials and take the YMCA Cardboard Challenge. They can create their own non-tech fun in our "5 Things You Can Do With Strings" activity. We will also be raffling off 15 three gallon oak trees from our City of Clearwater Parks Department, as well as a rain barrel donated by the Pinellas County Extension. Do you have questions about keeping chickens in your back yard or the best way to plant a tree? We will also have experts in the community offering earth-friendly presentations. All activities will be held on the 2nd floor of the Clearwater Public Library - Main - 100 N. Osceola Avenue.
